Top Performing Dividend ETFs in July 2024

I was reading a post on Facebook today about some of the highest yielding ETFs available in July 2024. It was in the Facebook group “Investing in ETFs for Income” and the post was by Elixis Rice. Information was pulled was from EtfFocus.com

Top Performing Dividend ETFs in July 2024

I already owned a good number of these, but I reviewed a few of the others and think it is safe to invest in the following list. I do not normally purchase any new ETFs just launched in the first year or any not yet given a rating by Morning Star. The three I did not own that I intend to purchase this month are:

UDIV – Franklin US Core Dividend

RFDA – RiverFront Dynamic US Dividend Advantage Fund

MBOX – Freedom Day Dividend ETF.

All of these are yielding above 12% and should be quality investments. Two of the others I already own have a good track record and they are:

FDVV – Fidelity High Dividend ETF

DGRW – Wisdom Tree US Quality Dividend ETF.

I own over 40 different ETFs that pay high dividends in our three Roth IRAs at Fidelity and Schwab. I have found that by having investments in a large number of ETFs, you limit your downside when the market has its ups and downs. One word of caution on the 3 ETFs recommended above.

All 3 are heavy into the high-tech stocks like Nvidia, Microsoft, and Amazon. While those are performing great right now, if we have a tech turndown, they will all 3 be affected. Be sure to diversify out into Bond ETFs and REITS. I have had super returns on several REITs in the past few years.
